Children Terrified by Bee Attack at White House Easter Egg Roll

Durng the annual Easter Egg Roll celebration, held at the White House on Monday, President Obama watched on helplessly as a number of children who were invited to take part were attacked by a swarm of bees.

The “attack” was harmless enough, although a number of the children in attendance could been seen to be somwaht nervous about the prospect of being stung on their visit to the White House.

“Oh no, it’s a bee. That’s OK, guys. Bees are good, they won’t land on you. They won’t sting you, they’ll be OK,” Joked the president, whilst the group of terrified children screamed.

“Hold on! Hold on! You guys are wild things!” Said the president, in reference to the book he had been reading to the children. “You’re not supposed to be scared of bees when you’re a wild thing!”

“The South Lawn features its own beehive, and the White House uses honey from it in the kitchen, including in its Honey Porter and Honey Ale beers,”
Fortunately none of the children were hurt in the incident, with all the kids making it off of the South Lawn unscathed.
